Základní informace o DocuBox
Televizní stanice DocuBox coby evropský prémiový televizní kanál, byla poprvé spuštěna v roce 2011. Vysílá celosvětově a jejím vlastníkem je skupina SPI International, divizí skupiny Canal+. Je programována v angličtině, francouzštině, polštině, rumunštině i ruštině. Formát obrázku je 1080i HDTV (zmenšeno na 16 : 9 576i pro SDTV kanál).
Vysílání probíhá nonstop 24 hodin denně 7 dní v týdnu v HD kvalitě. Je možné sledovat ji takřka kdekoli ve vynikající kvalitě, a to díky tomu, že je vysílána prostřednictvím DTH, kabelově, IPTV, DTT, Smart TV…
Díky tomu, že vysílá DocuBox velkou paletu filmů a televizních programů, mohou jej sledovat a vzdělávat se všechny věkové kategorie diváků. Jde o programy, které se neomrzí, a i když už jsme např. o dané zemi viděli více dokumentů, vždy se můžeme dozvědět něco nového, zajímavého, nebo se vrátit do míst, kde jsme třeba kdysi byli.
